A project of The Coop at StellaLou Farm.
Hosted by the Little Free Library, Cochranville.
Sharing physical plant seeds allows the community to share figurative seeds of knowledge with each other. Through the physical and digital offerings of the Little Free Seed Library, we grow and nurture access to food, connection to earth, and connections to each other.

The Coop at StellaLou Farm, an educational project of the School of Living, is opening the Little Free Seed Library at the Little Free Library Cochranville. Starting May 2022, there will be points of seed exchange hosted by the LFL19330.

The library collection will be available on shelves inside the LFL19330 in small paper seed packets. Any visitor is welcome to take the seeds they are interested in. Participants are encouraged to use these seeds for learning, experimentation, and supplementing their own collection, not as a source of their whole garden’s seed needs.
All seed packets will contain basic information about the seed it contains and a QR code that links to more information here, on The Coop at StellaLou Farm website. Digital information includes planting suggestions and seed saving recommendations.
We enthusiastically ask that participants who use seeds from the library allow one plant to go to seed, harvest the seed, and return a portion of the seeds to the Little Free Seed Library to nurture this exchange.
The public will be able to drop off viable seeds, either purchased or self saved, at the LFL19330 in Cochranville, PA. Donation labels will be available in this location and must be completed and attached to the donation for it to be included in the library. All donations will be inspected, sorted, and repackaged to ensure access to information.
