Requirements

Sow in average soil in full sun after danger of frost. Sow about 6" apart and cover with 1/4" of fine soil. Firm lightly and keep evenly moist. Seedlings emerge in 7-14 days. Blooms in summer.

Seed Saving

Harvest seeds when petals are dry and the base of each bloom (seed pod) is turning brown. Carefully open the seed head, spread long seeds on paper towel to air dry for about a week.

Additional Info

Single golden blooms with splashes of mahogany. Weather resistant plants recover after rains.
