Requirements

Sow in average soil in full sun in early spring. Sow seeds about 3" apart and cover with 2" of fine soil. Firm lightly and keep evenly moist. Seedlings emerge in 10-14 days. Thin to stand about 6" apart when seedlings are 1-2" high. Blooms in spring.

Seed Saving

Hybrid seeds probably won't look like the parent plant. Begin saving seeds after the shells turn brown and brittle. If pods begin to split, pick immediately. Remove seeds from the pods, lay seeds our plat on newspaper to dry completely, about 3 days. Store in a cool, dry place.
