Practical Foraging with Derek Carty

This workshop covers topics with emphasized focus on how to find and use what is all around us in our landscape in a way that fits people’s modern lives especially. There will be a mix of verbal presentation along with a show-and-tell and Q&A; and hands on experiences during a foraging walk along the property.

Each participant will take home a shelf stable food item made from foraged goods to continue the experience at home and have a reminder of how to take the knowledge of this workshop into your kitchen.
