About the Event
In a true blending of our favorite things, artist Libbie Soffer will be showing us how to merge agricultural and arts interests through seed paper making. Participants will begin the workshop with recycled paper material and saved seeds from various sources and leave with plantable paper. This workshop includes step by step papermaking instruction (hands on), investigation and demonstration of ways to plant the paper and share seeds, and engagement in casual conversations about seed saving with hands on examples from StellaLou Farm.
All papermaking materials will be provided and you are welcome to bring additional recycled paper and/or seeds if you wish. We recommend bringing food and water for yourself.
This event will be available for 12 participants. The cost to cover the instructor's time and gathered materials is $15.
If you have any questions about this workshop please contact us, the hosts at coop.stellaloufarm@gmail.com or Libbie, the instructor at 610-565-6086.
