Honey Bees with StellaLou Farm

Michaelann, our StellaLou beekeeper, will be presenting an introductory workshop about honey bees. As well as introducing basics for those who are considering trying their hand at beekeeping; Michaelann will share ideas about how we can help honeybees and other pollinators at home and in our communities. Questions and conversation are always encouraged.

An observation hive will be set up. Participants will experience exploration of a sample hive woodenware set up and other beekeeping equipment. There will be a walk-through of small scale honey house and equipment.

Participants will take home a small jar of honey and will be gifted an opportunity to schedule a 1-1 in the hive visit at StellaLou Farm.
